I wrote this order regarding a case dispute that I researched and conferenced for New York Supreme Court Justice Robert Johnson (Bronx Civil Term).
It arose when an Infant Compromise Order was contested by prior counsel; attorney misconduct was subsequently revealed, and the ICO recalled. This order was entered in September of 2019. The decretals have been omitted.
The below is an adult guardianship decision I wrote (under Article 81 of the New York Mental Health Law). It was also entered in the NY Supreme Court. Relevant names have been redacted.
